Reality show fans watched Luke Worley and Jay Howard swap vows on E4's Married At First Sight - but now, two years after appearing on the show, Luke has seemingly found a new love

Married At First Sight star Luke Worley has found love - and proudly shown off his new romance online. The 32-year-old reality star shot to fame as a contestant on E4's chaotic reality dating show in 2023.

Viewers watched as Luke swapped vows with 33-year-old sales executive Jay Howard - but they were removed from the show after Luke was involved in an altercation with fellow contestant, Jordan Gayle. Soon after this, Luke and Jay went their separate ways as they split in November 2023, weeks after their season of the E4 show started airing.

The highs, lows and drama of the TV series seem to be far behind Luke, however, as he has found a new romance. Taking to Instagram on Friday, he posed alongside his apparent new partner - who has been unmasked as Thalia Pearce.

Posing together, the duo looked very happy in each other's arms while in the Spanish seaside city, Alicante. Sharing the snap, Luke tagged Thalia and added a simple caption, stating: "Back with the bestie" alongside a heart-hand emoji and a Spanish flag emoji.

The photo provoked a flurry of reactions from fans and followers - many of whom Luke interacted with. In one response, Luke said of Thalia: "she’s been my rock the last few months." And many fans commented to say how great the pair looked together.

Last year, Jay opened up about her failed romance with Luke - with the pair splitting despite her attempts to salvage the romance after they were removed from the E4 show. They were ejected from the experiment after Luke engaged in a physical argument with Jordan - which meant Jay had to leave the show too.

Speaking to The Sun last year, she said: "I agree with us leaving at the time that we did because the altercation between Luke and Jordan shouldn’t have happened.

"At the time I would have liked to have completed the experience with Luke but on reflection I’m grateful that I didn’t because it showed me that not every relationship is meant to last and that me and Luke weren’t right for each other."

She later told the Manchester Evening News: "I appreciate everything that happened and I enjoyed my time with him and the experiment as a whole - the experience, meeting the cast and crew, everything about it.

"Obviously, my relationship didn't work out but relationships in the real world don't sometimes. At the end of the day, we were chosen for each other, we didn't have that input, we just had to make it work. That's not real life. But I am very grateful for everything that's happened."

Luke previously opened up about the friendship he created with Jay after appearing on the show. He wrote in a social media post: "Going on MAFS wasn’t an easy decision for me and it took a lot of consideration. I knew it wouldn’t be easy but I never thought I would meet someone as unique as @jay_howard. Thank you for accepting me for being me, you made me feel comfortable the second we met."

He added: "Thank you for everything Jay, you will always be special to me and I will always be there for you whenever you need me. I’m glad we can be friends because I couldn’t imagine you not being in my life. It’s been an amazing journey that I will never forget."

A new season of Married At First Sight UK began filming in February this year and is expected to air later in the year.
